Dolores Keaton, quiltmaker
Award-winning quiltmaker Dolores Keaton was Cindy’s mother. After retirement, she began making intricate quilts and creating a community around her practice in St. Louis, Missouri. At the urging of friends and professionals alike, Dolores began showing her work at national quilt shows such as those in Paducah, Kentucky. She often won awards for her work, with evaluators noting her consistency and precision.
Dolores passed in 2024, and we have decided to share these pieces of art with the world. The quilts in the gallery below are for sale to loving homes as pieces of art, as blankets, or as collectible assets. They have been professionally appraised and priced according to both that standard and the limited quantity of pieces created. A copy of a given appraisal is available upon request.
